Important/Interesting Pens by Month. Updated as it is released. First thing first, why keep buying? On China Pen Makers 2025.04 Majohn P139 Demonstrator - interesting rate 4/5. Who doesn't want a better Hemingway with USD 50? I will adjust the rating after seeing the fianl product. I want a 100% demonstrator, with smoked seal inner cap. It's said to be available in a month. 2025.03 Hongdian Missile Launcher - Interesting Rate:N/A Hero 100 Snake - Interesting Rate 2/5. Literally a Hero 100 with mental casting snake cap. CNY 1100. Junlai 930 Steel nib - Interesting Rate 3/5. I might buy it for its B nib. Review- Majohn P139 Expedition

The first leak of this pen dated back to Nov, 2023. After some regular delays, it was launched yesterday. The high price due to: 1. ebonite feed - but it does not come with Low Ink Refill function 2. all metal piston components - why? MB Hemingway with all metal piston mechanism? so, both "upgrade specifications" do not actually deliver any "upgrade in function". Pro: quite a bit vintage pen look, homage to MB Hemingway, don't sleep old man don't sleep. Con: expensive, compared with other makers with similar specifications. no Low Ink Refill function. when posted, the cap will rest on piston knob and turn it with ease (pictures near the end).

Majohn/Moonman B25

Released on 10th Dec, 2024 for CNY29.9 (USD4.12125790099987526 sorry for split of tough in video as USD6) That is a pen from a nation amid of an economy turbulence. This trend will have an effect on the coming 2025, which I will do a forecast in another video. This is a pen of basics, toy grade, definitely not something we pen enthuristist are familiar with (at least for me). This pen represents a footprint of Majohn entering the low price market, which is currently dominated by Jinhao. I compared with MJ B25 with my other "fligher" style FP from Hongdian (forest series, CNY 70), MJ P135 (CNY 90), Jinhao 911(CNY 10), Jinhao 58 Fligher (CNY 30). The B25 is definitely inferior in respect of material (build quality still solid). Thinner layer of steel, thinner barrel & cap of B25 (CNY 30), which delivers a instant feel of "joke or toy" feel once you pick up the pen. Jinhao's material and build quality on par with the double priced Hongdian, in this comparison...
