Limited edition only available in 2025. Basically a 930 Flat, with the imprint name of late Pope Francis (21st, April 2025), Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Black cap finale and barrel finale, ivory white barrel, only available in #9 steel B.
The initial batch was available on 9th May, when was also the same day Pope Leo XIV was elected.
Worth noting that, this version of 930 cap was upgraded with "resistance when capped", for prevention of accidental loose. My other initial 930 (Apr, 2025) cap doesn't come with such feature.
Pro:
- new Montblanc style of grinding on #9 steel F/M;
- upgraded cap thread with "tightening" feature;
- Pope Francis imprint is gorgeous.
Con:
- #9 is not for daily use
