News_Jinhao 1935 Tiandao - A Bad Design! Violin, not guitar!

This pen was released just before June, 2024.
  • To commemorate the national anthem of PRC (People's Republic of China, i.e. mainland), "March of the Volunteers (义勇军进行曲 wiki)" first released in May, 1935.
  • the music of this song, Nie Er (聂耳 wiki), who died while swimming in Fujisawa, Japan, at the age of twenty-three, On July 17, 1935. His violin, which was said to be used while composing the captioned song, is now in display in Yunnan Museum.
In my opinion, this is a horribly designed pen, due to following reasons:

1. this pen is named after "1935", i.e. the year the national anthem music was composed by Nie Er. There is historical record that, Nie Er used a violin doing this piece of job. The exact violine was in display in Yunnan Museum. So, why the hell is the "Guitar" coming from?

2. I approached Jinhao for this obvious design pitfalls before it was launched. The feedback was utter silence.
3. As my ID indicates, I am also an enthuristist in cold weapons. The geometry of the "Red Army Dadao" on the nib, is also very wrong. blade wrong, hand guard wrong. It is more of an "American Tanto" with "WWI Trench Guard" to me.

back to the pen:
  • #8 steel nib in M, F
  • Monster converter as in 9019 Dadao
  • "Tian Dao". Tian = sky, heavenly. Dao = path, solution. Any translation will lose the essence  meaning from its original. Just use your imagination, take a deep breath and feel for yourself.
